The Discipleship Purpose team is assigned the purpose of discipleship. Their target is the committed. Their goal is to lead our members to deeper spiritual commitment and help them develop to spiritual maturity. This team is responsible for The Bible in Life program on Sunday mornings, the midweek children and youth gatherings, all Bible studies, growth groups in homes, and special church-wide spiritual growth campaigns. They also provide family devotional guides, Bible study curriculum, and other resources to help believers grow.

Getting Involved
BIBLE FOR LIFE
We meet before Sunday service using the Kingdom Family model, giving those who choose to participate many opportunities to physically try their hand at the many ways there are to serve in God’s kingdom. Read more.
YOUTH GROUP
Whether it is through pizza parties and road rallies or video lessons and youth retreats we desire to find healthy and spiritually valuable ways to connect with our youth. Read more.
SMALL GROUPS
The purpose of small groups that meet outside of regular church meetings is to foster spiritual growth through the study of God’s Word, and the sharing of more intimate needs and victories with the forming of close, supportive, Christ-centered friendships. Read more.

LIBRARY
The function of the library is to provide spiritual reference items to Fairview Avenue’s family. The librarians organize and maintain the library by selecting new books, discarding outdated material, cataloging all resources, and displaying/making available books to motivate believers in their walk with Christ and growing disciples for Christ.
