The Outreach Purpose Team seeks to strengthen the outward focus of Fairview Avenue Church. We plan and promote creative activities designed to engage our church family in bringing the love of Jesus to our local community and around the world.
We do this through:
- Prayer walking and/or prayer driving
- Serving our local community with a food pantry
- Promoting world missions and supporting various missionaries around the world
- Encouraging small group participation and inviting others to join
- Facilitating the use of our property for other local ministries like Bible Adventure, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Girl Scouts, etc.
We want to strengthen the “other-focused” culture among our church family. We seek to be a body of believers who are constantly looking for opportunities and fresh ways to share the love of Christ with our neighbors, co-workers, family, and friends.

Getting Involved
FOOD PANTRY
The ministry of our food pantry is to provide supplemental food to needy families in Waynesboro and to show our clients the love that God has for them. Read more.

The mission of Kids Club is to reach the children of this community, to connect with parents, to show the love and saving grace of Jesus through the Word and the loving example of our leaders. Read more.
