In Gethsemane, Jesus called God the father “Abba”, an intimate name, like “Daddy”. Christians liked the sound of that and soon the apostle Paul was teaching about Abba. By the end of the first century, the early church used this name for God in many of their prayers. But who is the God who lets us call Him Dad? What’s He like?
