Sermon: “Be a Builder” Jude 1:20-23
Jude, a brother of James (and Jesus) wrote to encourage the church to persevere. It was a difficult time in the life of the church where some had fallen away from following Christ completely and others had adopted the heresy of Gnosticism. Jude encourages them to be builders of their faith and gives us six specific things to do to build our faith up.

For the past three or four weeks I’ve ended my sermons and devotional times with three exhortations: Pray Hard, Trust God, Be Safe. Are you praying? Are you Trusting God? Are you being safe? All three of these have important implications for Jesus followers and not just the first two. After weeks in quarantine with no immediate end in site I’d like to challenge you to extend your spiritual disciplines to practical matters of daily life.
