We are Fairview Avenue Brethren in Christ Church.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don’t let the long name scare you. We’re regular people: We are parents, singles, teens and kids. Some of us have come through the experience of a full schedule with an empty life. All of us have known something about broken relationships and financial challenges. On the other hand, we’re different: We have found the promises of our culture (happiness and fulfillment through the newest turn-on, abundance of material things, self-serving relationships…) to be just so much promise and no fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fairview Avenue Church has been worshipping Jesus for over 75 years in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, but our denomination has been around since the late 1700’s. Impacted deeply by the revivals of the Great Awakening of the 18th century, our founding mothers and fathers brought strong Anabaptist and Pietist backgrounds with them, emphasizing a personal, heartfelt conversion experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
