“Drink from Me” John 7:37-38
Are you spiritually thirsty? The Feast of Tabernacles was the 7th and final feast God commanded His people to observe (this year October 13-21). Jesus chose the most important day of this feast to challenge temple tradition and start people talking when He said, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.” (John 7:37). Come and quench your thirsty heart with living water.

Personal Worship: “The Missing Element” Acts 1:14
Imagine a chair with one leg missing. What would happen if you sat down on that chair? The chair would collapse or tip over and you would fall down. The four legs provide balance. When prayer is missing from our Christian life, it’s very easy for our spiritual lives to tip over and collapse. Prayer is vital for balance and much more. In fact, it could be argued that without prayer you don’t really have a Christian life. This week we ask the question, “Why must we always be desperate before we come earnestly to God in prayer?” How do we put back the missing element, the one that connect us with God, feeds our spirit, and brings blessing?
